Today was a good day because Ron was able to eat! He had a belly full of poached egg on toast, salmon and mashed potatoes, and homemade chicken soup.
He also had a belly full of love from his Livermore soccer team tonight. We worried all day if Ron would be able to make the drive and have enough energy to be at the team meeting. Like a good pharmacist, I slipped him an anxiety/nausea pill before the journey.
I am having a hard time finding the words to express how great it was to see Ron with his team again. He has really missed "his soccer". We both had a great big helping of hugs from the kids and the parents! and did I mention the homemade raspberry preserves??
Today was a full day.
