chef Jamie Doesn't Crumble under Pressure



Florrie and I challenged each other to a bake-off and Jamie stepped up to the challenge as well. He even walked to the store.... (in the snow...) to get the ingredients for his "Apple Blackberry Crumble". He also needed to convert the ingredients and cooking temperature from metric to oz. and Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Florrie and I refrained from "helping" until he announced that he turned the temperature up because the crumble topping wasn't browning...

Oh no! There is such a fine line between brown and...black...

At last, we fretted for no reason, Chef Jamie mastered the dish. And please note, didn't get ANY blackberry stains on his white shirt!
We scooped ice cream over the warm crumble and enjoyed.
