This morning at 3am I brought Ron's son, Jamie, to the airport. He was booked on a 6am flight to New York. My friend Patty will meet him there and fly out to Birmingham. Patty works for Continental Airlines and has been using buddy passes to get Ron's family back and forth. Jamie has to sort out his business before coming back to be with us. His business is student housing and....it's back to school time! We had a heart wrenching day yesterday as we transitioned to hospice AND said goodbye to Jamie.
