This year the NDNU Soccer teams will have Ron's initials on their
Nike practice jerseys. They are wearing purple since it is the color of support for pancreatic cancer. Ron is already asleep next to me after a long, emotional, afternoon. Thanks to all who made this day possible!!!

Today my daughter lost a great role model in her life..and we lost a good friend. Thank you Ron Chell for everything you did for her and for us..Thanks for making her do all the dives..over and over again..until she was so tired she could barely move..thanks for teaching her that hard work pays off..but most of all thanks for treating her like your own daughter and caring about what happend to her..to quote oe of Rons own sayings.. "you were magic out there" ♥
So sorry to hear of Ron's illness and passing. Ron was my son Nico's goalkeeper trainer for two years in 2006-2007. He taught Nico so many things that improved his game but more importantly he spoke to him, goalie to goalie, with the passion that Ron had for playing and coaching. He was intelligent and funny and we both enjoyed the training sessions with Ron. Our sincere condolences to his wife, family and friends. I'm sure there is a net in heaven with Ron's name on it.
