At night I can tell myself it is not real. It is a dream...but morning comes.
I can "Sign In" and write in "Ron and Patty's blog".
I don't want to type with both hands. One hand should be touching Ron.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched...but are felt in the heart. - Helen Keller

Oh patty, I thought of you all night...I couldn't sleep. I wish it was just all a bad dream and Ron was still there with you and cancer didn't come and take him away from you. You are in my thoughts every second of every day and my heart is broken in a million pieces for you and Family and for the incredible loss of such a wonderful man and dear friend. I thought yesterday " how will we all go on without him?" it will never be the same again with out him to talk to Paul about soccer for hours on end, and be sitting across the field at every soccer game I attend, to make me laugh...I was always laughing at something he did or said, he was one of the funniest people I knew.
...but then I thought this morning, we will all get through this together with the memories of his life that he lived so full of life and passion. We will forever remember his smile and the special way he reached out to kids and taught them so much about the game he loved...we will have those special memories to share with one another and that will keep Ron alive in our hearts forever until we all meet again on that big soccer field in the sky...where he will be on the bench sitting next to God waiting for us to get there and give us the "re-cap"
You were a wonderful wife to Ron, you shared him with soccer ( most people don't know what that means..only a coaches wife would understand) you took such good care of him even up to the end...He loved you so, he would always talk so highly of you. Hang in there Patty you are a strong courageous woman and we are all here for you to help you through this very difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Patty, I truly believe Ron lives. He lives in our heart, our mind, our spirit, and our soul. May God continue to watch over you and your family in this time of bereavement.

Patty and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. We called him our coach, but he was truly a fan. He was a fan of life... From his warmth, his charisma, and that passion he held in life he was truly AMAZING as you spoke about. Ron was amazing with the kids as he took them all in and showered them with praise and encouragment. They loved the "funny" way in which he spoke...they just loved him for being Ron...the one and only. I feel blessed to have gotten to know him and work with him for the last few years and I hold a special place in my heart for him. A big hug to each of you to help ease you pain as you try and go about life without him. May your memories find you comfort....
